What a weekend!

Well, I decided to have my "Meltdown" BEFORE I took Justin up to Fort Indiantown Gap! Yes, the upset mommy here, but I'm proud and do wish him well in what he's doing. Yesterday was my meltdown day. Couldn't help myself. I was up bright and early this morning...4:30am, to be exact. Picked him up at my moms at 5am and headed up the highway to drop him off for bootcamp. He will be having a graduation, which I'm still not clear on why, but they're having one on Thursday at The Gap and I will be there. He, then, will head down to South Carolina where it all starts! 9 weeks of bootcamp. From there, he will go to Aberdeen, MD for training for 13 weeks. Good thing is, he will be able to come home on weekends from MD as long as he's a "good boy"! LOL
Note to self.....take camera to the graduation on Thursday! LOL

New Year's Eve Already!

So, I've been busy getting everything ready for New Year's Eve! We're having a party, but not just any party. My oldest son, Justin, is leaving on January 5th for bootcamp for the Army National Guard! So we decided to have a "send off" party on New Year's Eve for him.
We've got family and friends coming and we're going to have a blast! I'm hoping he enjoys his evening. He and his fiance are going up to Hershey to watch the KISS drop, which should be fun. I've never gone to any of those events as my husband and I like to stay home where it's "safe"! LOL
We'll be eating plenty of food, drinking plenty of drink and playing lots of games and hopefully getting a movie in. My 2 oldest kids, Miranda and Justin, have decided to have a ping pong tournie! I think I'll have a glass of champagne punch before I play! LOL Maybe I'll win!
I'll be sure to take some pic's of the festivities and share them all. Can't wait until tomorrow night!

We hosted my families' Christmas Eve festivities and I must say....we had a BLAST! Tons of food, games, drink and fun! We are truly a blessed family!

Well, I think I'm getting ole dh on the ECO kick! "I'm buying a scooter to ride back and forth to work", he says, "It'll say a whole lotta money on gas!" Well, of course, what wife can say no to that? More money for me!!!! LOL He LOVES his "scoot scoot". He had to get a motorcycle permit to ride it!
